In Aotearoa New Zealand DOC is focussed on protecting our nature, history and culture. We want to show visitors to public conservation land how to visit the Kiwi way.

Turn off SH2, S of Opotiki and into Otara Rd. Follow to Te Waiti stream confluence, turn right and follow for 4 km. Well sign posted. Please note that there is a low ford to cross just after the turnoff and the road is narrow, but cars can reach the carp
